You can search a word or group of words and replace them by other words with the powerful Mass Mailing News message editor.
From the “Edit” menu, you only have to select “Find and replace…” to open the “Find and replace” dialog box. From the “Find and replace” dialog box enter a word or group of words of your message and replace them by another words.
This dialog box has two tabs. In the “Search” section enter a word or a group of words from the message you have previously written.
Then, click on the “Replace” section and enter a word or a group of words to replace the words that you wrote in the “Search” section. Finally, make a choice between: More options, Replace, Replace all, Find next or Cancel.
If you click on the “More options” button, you will have the chance to select two additional options: “Match the exact case” and “Match whole word only”.
The “Replace” button, allows replacing the word or the group of words that you are searching in your message just one time.
The “Replace all” button, allows replacing all the words or the group of words that you are searching in your document. For example: if the word or the group of words is repeated ten (10) times in the message, the Mass Mailing News will do ten (10) replacements.
The “Find the next” button, allows finding the next word or group of words in your search.
To cancel, you only need to click on the “Cancel” button. The dialog box will be closed automatically.
Note: If you want to do a search in your contact lists, we strongly recommend using the filter editor (see the Tool menu).
